WHY ME? Dedicated To: Christine Skidmore Sims
I've stretched my arms toward heaven, Whispered and shouted Your name; Please answer my question Lord, Tell me if I am to blame. Have you declared me guilty, Lord, did I do something wrong; Are you the cause of my pain, Please tell me what's going on. I'm seeing this through my eyes, Show me what You're seeing here; If it all made sense to me, I wouldn't feel all this fear. I know suffering's meant to, Alert, direct, shape, unite; I don't know which one of these, You're using to make things right. You see why I have sad eyes, I'm not sure, Lord, what You see; Please tell me why You're calling, I'm asking, "Why me, Lord, why me?"
