WHO FATHERED THEM

A father doesn't count his change
To see how much more he can spare;
Cash isn't his priority,
Need's his first concern, his first care.
Devoted dads will sacrifice,
Put their own wants in their pocket;
See to their families demands,
Pay the bills, buy a toy rocket.
A proud papa will lose sleep,
Pull pains for his tired wife;
Help deliver his offspring,
Then stay close throughout that child's life.
Sometimes pops coach their children,
Don't see through a child's watchful eye;
Little ones copy what they see,
From a smile to a sad goodbye.
God gives heavenly stamina
To the daddy that pleases Him;
He sends blessings through children's smiles
To the parent who fathered them.
