WHEN YOU'RE CRITICIZING

Moses was humbly dependent
On Jehovah for everything.
As the least proud person on earth
He pleased God the Eternal King.
Moses' older brother Aaron
Tuned water to blood; was a teacher;
He wore a high priest's holy clothes;
Was a most convincing speaker.
Their sister Miriam once led
A victory celebration;
When God fought back with the Red Sea
Defeating every Egyptian.
A designated prophetess,
Miriam's jealousy changed her;
She'd scheme, plot, conive and incite
'Cause Moses was more popular.
Moses brother and sister said,
"God speaks through us too doesn't He?"
God their advisor was angry
And suddenly spoke to all three.
Prophets see visions and dream dreams--
They can reveal hidden meanings;
I speak to Moses face to face,
Fear Me when you're criticizing.
