TIME AND AGAIN

Abraham's decendants were the,
Rightful heirs to the promised land;
The Philistines made it their home,
Great wars were fought there hand to hand.
Sampson was born to win battles,
Dedicated to serve God's will;
Countless men had measured his strength,
And superior fighting skill.
Sampson found someone to marry,
His model parents disagreed;
They both tried to change their son's mind,
But Sampson refused to concede.
His parents had no idea,
The Lord wanted this to happen;
God had been looking for a way,
To challenge some powerful men.
Secrets opened heaven's door and,
God's will came true in spite of sin;
God's Spirit worked through this strong man,
That broke his vows time and again.
