about:
a God that is everywhere at once,
a God that is infinitely wise and
a God that has unlimited power
But the very hairs on your head are all numbered. MATTHEW 10:30 KJV

THE CROSS AND NAIL
to Cheryl Casey Clark

When I saw a sparrow fall from a tree,
I remembered God's watching over me;
The book says He knew that little bird fell,
Just like He knew about the cross and nail.
God said hairs on my head have a number,
That I am being watched while I slumber;
The book says He knew me before my birth,
Decided right then just what I was worth.
God did the same with that bird in the air,
And that little one that fell over there;
Everything precious He blew breath into,
That's why He treasures the bird that once flew.
Both His Son's hands carry scars from a nail,
His pain was never described in detail;
But He released me when He died for me,
I fly like an eagle that's been set free.
Now I notice the birds that fly 'round me,
Know all their names like this one in the tree;
Perched way up high watching curiously,
Like the guardian angel assigned me.
