This spring we will celebrate
An old Irish holiday;
Countrymen will turn out green—
That's the American way.
A true Irishman's spirit
Is easily recognized;
You'll hear it in his laughter,
See it in his Irish eyes.
Irish expressions entertain,
Nobody smiles like they do;
Their delight is really real
'Cause they're entertaining you.
Many want to be Irish
And I can understand why;
Irishmen become legends
Because they give it a try.
Listening to their stories
Is a most glorious thing;
Keeping their company's just—
Another Irish blessing.
