THIS SINNER'S PRAYER VIII

God respects your right to make your own choices, right or wrong.
He cannot make a new person of you until you make him captain of your ship.
As you read this poem, ask The Lord God to show you how to have everlasting
joy, happiness and peace.
You are my famous Father,
So my heart’s set on success;
I want to stand for something,
That will calm my restlessness.
When You put me together,
Knowing my purpose in time;
You arranged features and traits
Befitting a planned design.
Once I just wanted to be
Somebody’s sweet, precious wife—
Somebody’s loving mother
Was all I wanted of life.
And now—that isn’t enough,
My soft heart desires more;
I sense a longing within
That yearns for more than before.
Deep awareness of other’s
Sorrow and anguish I feel;
What affects them—affects me,
Father help me—help them heal.
Thank you for blessing me LORD,
Amen and Amen!
