| Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. I JOHN 4:15 KJV | ||||||||||||||||||
JESUS, GOD’S SON to Larry Ramsdale I’ve thought about this often, And I don’t remember when; I first called Him by His name, Or closed my prayer with amen. I’ve asked about this often, Wondering what most would say; Could they call up the first time, Did they know the date—the way? I can remember singing… “Little ones to Him belong;” Everyone smiled happily, And everyone sang along. I can remember reading… Of wise men traveling far— Seeking a king to worship— Led by Bethlehem’s bright star. I can remember listening… To broadcasts over airwaves As preachers shouted,“Thus saith…” “Knock, it shall be…” and ”He saves!” So, when you meet face to face, Observe His devoted eyes; They illustrate God’s glory— And open doors for the wise. Someday, all will understand— His plan includes everyone; And He remembers the first time Each one called Him—“Jesus, God’s Son!” ©Copyright 1999-2007 Caryl Ramsdale. All rights reserved. |
