And Joseph went up to bury his father: and with him went up all the servants of Pharaoh, the elders of his house, and all the elders of the land of Egypt, And all the house of Joseph, and his brethren, and his father’s house: only their little ones, and their flocks, and their herds, they left in the land of Go’-shen. And there went up with him both chariots and horsemen: and it was a very great company. And they came to the threshingfloor of A’-tad, which is beyond Jordan, and there they mourned with a great and very sore lamentation: and he made mourning for his father seven days. GENESIS 50:7-10 KJV

BY HIS SIDE A Tears in a Bottle Collection Signature Poem. to Larry Ramsdale
In the lands the Bible mentions During times we consider old A tear bottle was a custom; Its contents more precious than gold. Vessels made of animal skins Kept and carried liquid back then. Sometimes they were a tote for tears That had been shed time and again. Tears that glorified our Father Were righteous tears someone had wept. Only tears of a godly cause Earned their worth, were rescued and kept. True friends would join a weeping brother— Sit near catching tears, one by one Careful none were lost to the ground But saved, 'til the crying was done. And a tear bottle was buried With the one that suffered and cried; Filled with tears that were collected By friends that still stood by his side.
