PARDON ME
to Rudy Harbeck

God didn't save you from sin
To shame you for all to see;
When the Lord forgives, you are
Pardoned, forgiven, set free.
Rid your life of all the 'junk'
Like things that trap you in sin;
Then be willing to hear God;
Ignore the words of lost men.
Expect to need the Lord's help,
No one can do it alone;
Let God lead you all the way,
Fresh starts begin at His throne.
Pardons are a gift from God,
You'll get one if you believe;
Jesus is God's Holy Son,
He gave so you could receive.
Once you know the hows of it,
Changes can become easy;
Forgive others and ask for yours,
Simply say, "Lord: Pardon me."
