Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God,
we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold,
or silver,
or stone,
graven by art and man's device.

OUR FATHER to Teresa Skidmore Puhrman
A really long time ago Religious men stood in awe; Of their God, The Creator, He made everything they saw. Their God was untouchable, He was as big as the sky; His power could shake the earth, He had a beholding eye. God's people of long ago Loved but did not understand; Father God's approachable He could take them by the hand. They could have gone to the throne Boldly and asked anything; Like mercy, and grace, and help 'Cause God's an open-door King. As we change our hearts and lives Jesus becomes our brother; Because we're all related, We can call God Our Father.
