NOT THE WORST Dedicated To: Robert Tester
God will use a big loss to change, Your life and the way you live it; How you manage adversity, Can persuade others not to quit. Jesus Christ set the example, In the scriptures that mention Him; Bystanders watched Jesus react, Saw how it soon benefit them. John the Baptist was arrested, Herod murdered Jesus' cousin; When John's disciples told Jesus, He sailed off to grieve for His kin. People followed from the cities, A great multitude sought God's Son; When Jesus saw the sick they brought, He healed them out of compassion. With five loaves of bread and two fish, That evening He fed everyone; Then Jesus urged his disciples, To set sail before He was done. Soon He climbed a mountain to pray, But wind tossed his friend's ship at sea; He walked on water to save them, From wind, waves and near tradegy. Then Peter asked to follow Him, Out onto the raging water; Fear nearly cost Peter his life, Jesus saved him from disaster. So next time misfortune daunts you, Remember to conquer fear first; Be of good cheer, Jesus is near, Expect miracles, not the worst.
