LOVE SHROUDS FAULT

Some people will never forgive
They blame and condemn all others—
When a compassionate heart could
Change enemies into brothers.
Some people are not so greedy
Sharing bites of not enough food—
Plenty changes an appetite,
Making some hoggish, selfish, rude.
Some people will not quit hating
They stir up trouble everywhere—
Prejudice impacts their disputes
And soon they’re engaged in warfare.
Some people are not lovable
They think, say, and do hateful things—
Mean, nasty, spiteful behaviors
A carefully planned hit that stings.
Some people will not be loyal
Even though most you know say so—
A friend, vow, or cause means nothing;
Those aren’t three deep feelings they know.
Some people are not trustworthy
With anything anyone owns—
Responsibility alters
An everyday borrower’s loans.
These six things disturb most of us;
Misconduct can come to a halt—
If we really care enough to
Show everyone that love shrouds fault.
