I Corinthians 13:4-8 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity invieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

LOVE NOTS
Dedicated To: Chris Hults

Roosters are proud pictures of vainglory,
Strutting their magnificent stuff a lot;
Don't indulge in self love like the roosters do,
When God says
Not! It's an irksome love not.
Those love nots aren't worth the wages of sin,
Sackcloth and ashes can't save a rebel;
The haughty put a curse on their own kin,
When God calls
Come back! Don't act unable.
Hens gather together chicks 'neath their wings,
Protecting them from an earthly stew-pot;
Don't be world-weary, copy the wise hen,
When God says
Not! It's a fretful love not.
Those love nots aren't worth the wages of sin,
Sackcloth and ashes can't save a rebel;
The haughty put a curse on their own kin,
When God calls
Come back! Don't act unable.
Chicken feed is a measure of value,
Oodles, gobs, heaps estimate all you've got;
Don't crave cash, it's the root of all evil,
When God says
Not! It's a worthless love not.
