It's an irksome love not. Those love nots aren't worth the wages of sin, Sackcloth and ashes can't save a rebel; The haughty put a curse on their own kin, When God calls Come back! Don't act unable. Hens gather together chicks 'neath their wings, Protecting them from an earthly stew-pot; Don't be world-weary, copy the wise hen, When God says Not! It's a fretful love not.
