LISTEN TO ME
to Howard Skidmore

One night while I was sleeping,
The Lord awoke me with a mission;
He said, Get up! Write this down,
Listen to me! Pay close attention.
I need to tell you something,
My friend, put these words down on paper;
It will change the way you live,
You' ll understand and serve Me better.
Tell all your friends this secret,
Read My word! You' ll find a guarantee;
I'll not take back My promise,
Your salvation is secure with Me!
No one' s allowed to rob Me,
Satan can't snatch the gift I've given;
Read all about salvation,
Once you' re saved, you' re headed for heaven!
Remember when I called you,
My perfect love influenced your life;
Believe in what you can' t see,
Rely on Me friend, in times of strife.
There are two kinds of Christians,
With salvation, comes the will to choose;
There' s worldly, there' s witnessing.
Satan is worldly. He' s going to lose!
Here' s My gift of salvation,
No one can ever take it away;
I called and meant every word,
All I ask, is for you to obey!
