about:
Adam & Eve
And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? GENESIS 3:9 KJV

JUDICIOUS EYES
to Tom Casey
and Tim Casey

God made a man and a garden
With a river flowing there;
Then put the man in charge of
All beasts and birds of the air.
He forewarned the man saying
Taste not from that knowledge tree;
It bears good and evil fruit,
Remember that fruit’s not free.
God listened as the man named
Every living thing in site;
Certain the man still needed
A partner that was just right.
So, God created again,
Taking from the sleeping man;
While he rested quietly,
Devine surgery began.
Man’s flesh was opened and closed
As God transplanted one bone
Into a life he had built
So man wouldn’t live alone.
“Bone of my bones,” the man said,
“Flesh of my flesh you are too;
Because you’re taken from man,
Wo-man is what I’ll name you.”

One day they tasted evil,
Ate taboo fruit, became wise;
God called
Where art thou? and they
Hid from His judicious eyes.
