IRISH TEARS
to Opal Casey
When a spirit is broken
A darkness circles each eye;
The skin loses it's color—
There are no more tears to cry.
Sin's not always the reason
A soul sends a sad message;
When you misread a pain source
You cause much more damage.
Accusations are cruel
And call on one to account;
For a thing that's a God-affair—
Read the sermon on the mount.
Jesus taught with that sermon—
Explained how people should live;
He encouraged a kind heart
'Cause all receive what they give.
Be humble—know God's working
On everyone through the years.

You understand my Irish tears.
