TEARS IN A BOTTLE COLLECTION

REVELATION 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, And him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. REVELATION 20:11 KJV

GOING HOME
to Ruby Skidmore Casey
07/23/1919-04/08/1999

There's a path that leads to heaven,
It's a walkway glazed with gold;
As I tread upon its brilliance,
Heavenly music rings out bold.
My reflection in its glimmer,
Mirrors a smiling happy face;
Going home to meet my savior,
I've been saved by God's good grace.
There's a gate off in the distance,
It's precious pearl and opened wide;
Marching to the sound of trumpets,
I'll pass through to the other side.
Countless holy angels singing,
God's gracious love encircles me;
Such a peaceful, wholesome feeling,
I give thanks on bended knee.
Rays of light spray 'round the angels,
As they sing their welcome hymns;
I'll step off the path, glazed with gold,
Onto a street adorned with gems.
Every color of the rainbow,
Sparkling bright on heaven's road;
Reminds me of the promises,
The Holy Bible's pages hold.
I've come home to be with Jesus,
Touch His throne and watch Him reign;
I'm a member of His family,
Royal blood runs through my veins.
Look, there's my Father's Great White Throne,
The good book made it very clear;
My brother sits at His right hand,
Now They've called me to join Them there.
They've been waiting such a long time,
For this family reunion too;
Take the path that leads to heaven,
We'll all be waiting there for you.
