Everyone loves their own grandfather, he can put a smile on a sad face;
Grandpas can fix any broken heart, teach sportsmanship, and sew on white lace.
A granddad won't show a hot temper, there's no need to raise his big voice;
He can inspire and encourage young to make safe, sound decisions by choice.
Wit, humor and personality put a spring in old gramps' lively step;
He can talk the talk and walk the walk, he's well informed, fashionable, and hep.
Listen to this: God's no grandfather...He won't grin and let you off the hook;
His job's to discipline and correct...He goes strictly by rules in His book.
Grandfathers charm all their grandchildren. Fathers give big hugs, kisses and teach; Father God's job is the hardest job 'cause He's in the business to preach.
Grandfathers tip their hats when they hear, "Only God can save you from harm."
Fathers learn secrets to success as God's unseen hand leads them by the arm.
Those two men somehow learned to fear God...take the time to find out what they know;
Love God, respect God, listen to God and remember you reap what you sow.
