FOREVER WITH ME
to Tim and Christina Hults
Chapels, churches, and synagogues,
Welcome brides and grooms year round;
When those two people step inside,
They're standing on holy ground.
Every Lord's house has an altar,
That's been touched by someone's tears;
One by one tears seal covenants,
That mature throughout the years.
Marriage vows are solemn pledges,
They aren't for two, they're for three;
Lifelong promises blessed by God,
Only bond when all agree.
Contracts back your word of honor,
Put your good name on the line;
And all of heaven will witness,
Legal documents you sign.
Listen closely to the Lord's words,
Vow to love an eternity;
Then whisper to your beloved,
Come be forever with me.
