FOREVER LOVE CIRCLE

There's a place that's fireside
Where I liked to sit and stare;
At grandma's skillfull fingers
When she stilled her rocking chair.
Grandma shared the memories
That she cherished in her heart;
Like favorites of grandpa
And the time they were apart.
She talked about her babies,
Shed some sad and joyful tears;
Told me about her best friend,
Her pets, her prayers and her fears.
She'd divvy out the stories
Like someone doling out gifts;
Grandma took her time telling
And finished each with an if.
Family and friends that care
Made grandma's life rich and full;
I'm proud I was a part of
Her forever love circle.
