God respects your right to make your own choices, right or wrong.
He cannot make a new person of you until you make him captain of your ship.
As you read this poem, ask The Lord God to show you how to have everlasting joy, happiness and peace.

4. Jehovah of Kind Acts of Mercy:

Absolve—failures to keep a promise,
Fill up all my days generously—
With an all consuming contentment,
As I help those dependent on me.

1. Almighty God and Deliverer:

Lord; show me how to narrow the gap,
To close that empty space in my heart;
Give me directions I can follow—
A solution—just say where to start.

2. Author and Finisher of Lasting Faith:

Forgive—my past disobedience,
Care for my heart, it belongs to you—
Unquestionably I’m devoted,
To thinking of you first—as I do.

5. Keeper of Strong, Positive Love:

Excuse—my weak acceptance of truth,
Show neighbors what you showed me before—
That loving others more than self—will
Reap rewards—for approved behavior

3. Heavenly Father of Holiness:

I’m sorry—for my poor example,
You are the divine power I know—
Speak to me about lives that please you,
Of lives that spark a heavenly glow.

6. Maker of Perfect Moral Justice:

Pardon—past neglect and disregard,
As I practice your laws willingly;
A much deeper sense of right and wrong,
Challenge my responsibility.

7. Father of Lights and King Eternal:

Now I ask to be blessed with wisdom—
To be respected for my choices;
And know that scandals and tragedies—
Burn bright candles that light up what is.
