MARY THE VIRGIN

Story: Mary was the mother of Jesus—who is the son of God—not God.
Mary means “Bitterness”

to Ruby Skidmore Casey 07/23/1919-04/08/1999

One baby was different from others,
But developed the way they all do;
Safely inside His mother’s belly,
Causing it to balloon as He grew.
Unlike every infant that is born,
This one breathed His first breath sinless—hence;
He was perfect.  He had no equal.
He was a model of excellence.
He had to be—It was prophesied—
And what was spoken must be fulfilled;
This alpha birth in history was—
A sacrificial lamb born to be killed.
The woman that gave birth to the child
Was god-fearing—free of moral sin;
She lacked worldliness, obeyed God’s law,
Was kept innocent—stayed a virgin.
To be blessed by God’s Holy Spirit,
Her moral excellence was vital;
This mother would gift a miracle,
With
“The Great Sacrifice” its title.
Her name was Mary.  She was worthy—
Dedicated—devoted—peaceful—
Resolute—an excellent witness;
Her actions noted—her words quoted.
A true miracle is up to God
And His supernatural power;
He named the right mother to be there,
For His miracle Son’s finest hour.

Is not this the carpenter’s son?  is not His mother called Mary?
and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
And his sisters, are they not all with us?
Whence then hath this man all these things?  MATTHEW 13:55 and 56 KJV
[His brothers were named James, Joses, Simon and Judas (not Judas Iscariot)
and there were evidently sisters as well, but they are unnamed.]

~ Pray for an understanding of every mother’s heart…it pleases God. ~
