| DEUTERONOMY 26:1 And it shall be, when thou art come in unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and possessest it, and dwellest therein; (KJV). | ||||||||||||||||
OUR EGG ROLL to Mary Skidmore Find some rich, green, grassy knolls; Some small, rounded hills somewhere. Look for natural inclines-- Not like oranges--like pears. Steep won't do, it won't be right, The vertical curves should slant Slightly, properly angeled; Formed like leaves on a house plant. Seek a fairweather day of Bright sunshine and a light breeze. Compliment the scene with A bit of shade from tall trees. Prepare your Easter basket, Adorn it with fancy trim. Boil, color and cool fresh eggs, Then pile them up to the rim. Roll one egg down your green place, Long distance is this game's goal. The fun is in finding the Perfect spot for our Egg Roll. Don't break the egg...or you lose!
