Happy Easter! TEARS IN A BOTTLE COLLECTION
Caryl Ramsdale, American Poet

JUDAS ESCARIOT was the
treasurer  for   Jesus  Christ
and  His  band of disciples.
Not a Galilean, like all the others...Judas,  the  son of
Simon  walked  and  talked with Jesus, listened to Him teach then sold God's Son, his Savior,  to His enemies.
Wherefore that field was called; The field of blood, unto this day. MATTHEW 27:8 KJV
FIELD OF BLOOD
to Carolyn Hults

The white shining precious metal
Flew through the open temple door;
Thirty pieces of silver clinked,
Jingled, bounced on the smooth stone floor.
One by one the priests collected
Blood money that fell on cold stone;
As an innocent was taken
To face his accusers alone.
Now, Judas was very sorry
For handing Him over to them;
He begged they let him take it back
Saying,
"I sinned.  Please release Him."
The chief priests and elders answered,
"What's that to us? It's your problem;"
An angry, repenting Judas,
Ended his life when he left them.
Death money and temple money—
If mixed would drag them through the mud;
So, the coins bought a potter's field
That is still called the
"Field of Blood".
