| PSALM 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. KJV | ||||||||||||||||
CROSS THE MEADOW To Camilla Rupe Come see this lush green meadow That looks like a well kept park. It's abound with timeworn trees, Clothed in thick husks of bark. A breeze tickles everything here. Breathe the air, it's fresh, it's clean. Colorful, winged things wander, Dainty flowers bend and lean. White, puff clouds gather above And travel a clear blue sky; Bullfrogs swim 'round a small pond, An old dog settles and sighs. The soothing sounds of nature Take one's mind off their troubles; The natural world God made Softens hearts and anoints souls. If you need restoration, Sit beneath that big, old tree; And if you need an old friend, Cross the meadow, sit with me. By Caryl Ramsdale Copyright©1999-2004 'tears in a bottle collection' |
