BUSY MAKING MEMORIES to Ron Harbeck Claim my trinkets and treasures, Ignore my identity; Denounce any connections, But don't take one memory. Cousins and chemistry sets, Green smoke pouring out a door; Swimming a lake side by side, To get to its distant shore. Fresh popcorn and soda pop, Watching fifties tv shows, Basketball in the driveway, Through rainstorms and winter snows. Cookies in a cookie jar, Take only one for each hand, Fold and fly it paper planes, Shoot just one more rubber band.
