Jesus climbed up a high mountain,
To call fishermen from the sea;
These men were first to hear His voice,
When He called out,
"Come, follow Me!"
Peter and Andrew, James and John,
Four fishermen from Galilee;
Peter and Andrew were brothers,
James and John sons of Zebedee.
Philip, a friend of these brothers,
Pulled fish from that very same sea;
Jesus called Philip to follow,
He said,
"Philip, come walk with Me!"
As Matthew, Thaddeus and James,
Kelt down 'neath the shade of a tree;
Jesus whispered each of their names,
He commissioned the brothers three.
Simon the Zealot was summoned,
He fished from a boat on the sea;
Jesus waved to this fisherman,
Shouted,
"Come, fish for men with Me!"

One more Galilean joined them,
All but one came from Galilee;
This man is called Doubting Thomas,
He doubted, so he could believe.
Jesus picked one of noble birth,
Bartholomew was royalty;
The son of the King of Geshur,
Said,  "I'll follow you Lord willingly."
The traitor betrayed our savior,
His prize a bag full of money;
For thirty pieces of silver,
Judas sold our Most Holy.
Jesus loved all His disciples,
He chose them all so carefully;
They followed in Jesus footsteps,
As they witnessed His words and deeds.
All twelve were loyal to the end,
A fisherman holds heaven's key;
All twelve were very special men,
Judas' love, was the mystery!
AND THEY FOLLOWED HIM

And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach.
